Sarah Walsh joins APT
Sarah Walsh joined APT as the new Administrative Director on 15th June 2020. Sarah comes from the Theatre Trust where she has been General Manager since 2016.

A group of local artists have been doing a series of performances on or at the old barge loading quay on the left-bank of the Thames below Canary Wharf. During lockdown, Fran Cottell installed a series of inflateable rings suspended just above high water mark.

APT : August Collectives
In 2019, four artistic collectives and artists were invited to take over APT’s Gallery for one week each: Cleave and Deptford Island Disco who came together for this project; South Speak, a gathering of poets; and the BOAT collective.

There is a crack in everything
In the future… when this is all over… we’ll look back and, what?
We will perhaps be amazed at the suddenness of the crash. One minute we were going along just nicely or at least going along; everything in its place or at least predictable; the landscape of our ambitions and struggles familiar, mapped, alive. And the next, silence as one by one the lights went out.

The HEARTEN Project
To celebrate the determination and sacrifices of NHS staff, APT artists are working with the Lewisham and Greenwich Trust on a project to create artworks for the University Hospital Lewisham and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Greenwich. Hearten will initially be an online exhibition but will then be shown in both the QEH and UHL when circumstances allow.
