Studio 1.10 Residency

Since 2010 A.P.T has provided temporary project studios to artists.  These low-cost studios offer artists the opportunity to develop new work, in a supportive environment,

The Studio 1.10 Residency provides 1 low cost studio space for 12 months.  Throughout the year the residency artist will take part in A.P.T programme and will receive guidance and support from A.P.T artist members throughout the year.

Programme

The resident artist will receive:

  • 1 year, low cost studio lease (see Guidance Notes for rates)

  • Guidance and support offered by APT artist members at points throughout the year.

  • Opportunities to meet relevant members in the community of APT – artists, trustees and staff

  • Opportunities to take part in Gallery & Programming Sub-Committee meetings and the Annual General Meeting, to gain understanding and experience of how an art charity like APT operates.

  • Opportunities to be involved in other APT led projects throughout the year: Annual Group Show and Open Studios
