I've been at APT since its inception 1996

Which female artists inspired you growing up?
Female artists that inspired me growing up both for their work & their strength to keep working against all odds - Kathe Kollwitz, Barbara Hepworth, Emily Carr, Louise Bourgeois, Eva Hesse & Barbara Caruso

What is the most important piece of advice you have been given?
The most important piece of advise: When you feel a 'crisis of confidence block' keep moving forward making, working even just mark making without judgement until you have a body of work to then go through & decipher.

Why did you choose this piece of work today?
I have chosen 'W-rap II', a recent small metal painted sculpture because it's small but outspoken with it's interior glossy pink painted interior space. The colour continues to the backside edges of the steel flats that define the form & space creating surprising views from front to back.
