How long have you had a studio at APT?
I've had my studio since last July when I received the APT & Fenton Arts Trust Mentoring Award and am making the most of my year at APT. 

Which female artists inspired you growing up?
The first female artist I remember having a real impact on the way I looked at art was Paula Rego. I remember seeing her interpretations of fairy tales when I was quite young, particularly their darker, unsettling side, and being fascinated at how brilliant observational drawing could be coupled with imaginative rendering.

What is the most important piece of advice you have been given?

'Follow your passion, live your dream.' I'm very lucky to be part of a family where individual interests and passions are actively encouraged.
