Alix MacSweeney

The starting point for Alix MacSweeneys work is always something she has seen, rather than an abstract idea - maybe patterns of bark or rock, or colour juxtapositions. Then these are varied and developed. MacSweeneys preferred medium is oil paint, for its variety and subtlety of colour and texture.

Exhibitions include the Royal Academy, the Mall Galleries, Deptford X, Colville Place Gallery, Vivienne Roberts Projects, and of course APT.
